I've never liked going to the gym, despite trying so many times... so I thought I'd try a PT. See if I can get into building my strength up as I approached my 60th year.

I can't recommend Halima enough, she is an absolutely awesome coach and helped me to build better habits with nutrition and personalised workouts. Part of Halima's approach is to also work on the mindset, which has really helped me to stay on track and focus on my goals.

I'm absolutely delighted with my progress with Halima.

In the beginning, I was sceptical about contacting any fitness coach, as I wasn't sure I could commit to whatever was coming my way (given my intense job and busy lifestyle), but equally, I couldn't continue with my inactivity and poor eating habits. I was ballooning, and I had to do something.

After my initial contact and consultation with Halima, I was instantly reassured that she'd listened to all my concerns and would factor these in to any programmes. Testament to this was starting on small changes around diet, general eating habits, introducing lite exercises to fit in around me but also my mindset around emotional well-being. Everything was tailored to my needs, and therefore removed my excuses of why I couldn't be a success story.

Whilst many want instant results, Halima has taught me to just persist, and it's absolutely paying off. The regular coaching calls ensure that I've remained on track, motivated and focused. In the 9 weeks, I've now lost 9 lbs...but what I'm more personally pleased with are my measurements, where I have lost 3 inches off my waist.

My programme is constantly evolving, and now that I'm seeing the amazing results, I'm more than happy for everything to be ramped up.

Needless to say, I can't recommend Halima highly enough. She's brilliant and just what I have been needing – my only regret is I wish I'd done this months ago!

Joining Halima has been the best thing I have ever done for myself personally. I've lost 15kg and gone from size 22 to size 16 I'm still on my journey.

Before I began my journey with Halima, I felt overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. I had low mood and little self-confidence and struggled with exercise and food choices.

Fast forward a little over a year, and I'm in such a better place both mentally and physically.

Before I joined Halima in my fitness journey, I was relatively fit, as I have always exercised. I’ve done circuit, step, Zumba, and boxercise; however, since hitting my 50s, whatever I was doing just wasn’t working anymore, so I decided that I needed a change of direction.

My friend showed me Halima's Instagram; it showed me how strength training was the way forward and nutrition is crucial.

I knew nothing about nutrition; of all the years I have exercised, I was never educated on nutrition.

I was sold and booked my first session with Halima and can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.

I love my sessions; Halima is so supportive and has a wealth of knowledge in fitness and the human body. I have learnt how to lift weights correctly and been educated on nutrition. Training with Halima has definitely exceeded my expectations.

My body shape has changed, my clothes fit better, I feel like I have more energy, I am sleeping better and my confidence has grown. I've dropped 2 dress sizes in total so far.

I have struggled with weight gain over the last few years and have yo-yo dieted, losing some weight & then piling more on. My food habits were poor, and my gym routine was hit and miss with no consistency from my end. If I trained on my own, I would struggle with what to do and quickly lose motivation.

Halima has taught me daily habits that have been life-changing in such a short period of time. Food and what to eat has always been such a struggle for me and an area I really needed help with. Halima has been a huge support in this area. I now eat more than ever, feel so much fuller and lose weight!!!
